Ideal for participants outside Ghana who will secure their own China visas, arrange their own flights, and meet the group in China.
Cancellation Options
Clear Refund Windows Before You Reserve.
Receive a full refund of all payments made when written cancellation is confirmed by this date.
Receive a refund of payments made, minus the $1,500 non-refundable reservation deposit.
Receive 50% of the total package cost, minus any flight cancellation charges already incurred.
Payments are forfeited after this date. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for extra protection.
Additional cancellation options and notes
- Name transfer requests are accepted through September 1, 2026 with a $150 admin fee, or the fee may be credited toward the April 2027 program.
- Flights become non-refundable once booked. Any airline cancellation charge is deducted from an applicable refund.
- If one person in a couples booking cancels, the remaining participant moves to the single-room rate and the difference is applied to the refund calculation.
- If a visa is denied by Chinese authorities, the visa processing fee is non-refundable, but all other eligible payments are refunded within 14 business days.
- If Benguy Travels cancels the October program because the minimum enrollment is not met by August 1, 2026, participants receive a 100% refund within 14 business days.

Pay 50% of the remaining package balance by August 1, 2026 and the final balance by September 1, 2026. Ghana visa processing begins only after full payment.
